Privacy notice

This notice covers the Say So For Me website at saysofor.me. Say So For Me is run by Blackhole Software, LLC (CrashBytes). The Say So For Me app isn't live yet. It will have its own privacy notice when it launches.

What we collect when you join the waitlist

  • Your email address.
  • When you signed up, and when you confirmed.
  • The boxes you ticked: launch email (required) and build updates (optional), plus which version of that wording you saw.
  • The campaign tags (utm_source and similar) from the link you came in on, if it had any.

We don't store your IP address, your browser details, or your name.

How we use it

We use your email to send a link to confirm your address, to tell you when Say So For Me opens, and to send build updates if you asked for them. We don't sell it. We don't share it except with the services below that help us run the waitlist.

Analytics

We'd like to use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see which parts of the site people read. It only runs if you choose "Allow analytics" in the cookie banner. Until then, no analytics cookies are set.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as "no" and don't ask.

We never send your email address or other personal details to analytics. What we do send is things like which page you viewed, which buttons you clicked, and which questions you opened. Google keeps this data for 2 months. You can change your choice any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

We don't run ads, and we don't use advertising cookies.

Services we use

  • Cloudflare hosts the site and stores the waitlist. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the person filling out the form isn't a bot. To do that, Cloudflare looks at your request, including your IP address.
  • Resend sends our emails.
  • Google runs Analytics and Tag Manager, only if you allow analytics.

How long we keep it

If you never confirm your email, we delete the signup. That cleanup runs as new signups come in and removes anything left unconfirmed for 30 days. If you confirm, we keep your email until you remove yourself or we stop running the waitlist.

Your choices

  • Every email we send has a link that takes you off the list. Using it deletes your record.
  • You can email hello@saysofor.me to ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted.
  • You can change your analytics choice with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page.

Children

This site is for job seekers. It isn't meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top.
